When we first moved to this house, about 20 years ago, we had 2 cars, and a large garden to look after, so this Cedar Garden Shed was built to take some of the stuff that just did not fit into the Garage.
Most will fit into the Garage, and some will end up on hard rubbish. I have swept it out, and let off one of those insect bomb things, so in 12 hours time I can start cleaning up there and move in. It will be a great place to keep my Market Stall and eBay stock, (freeing up the spare bedroom). Hoorah. Unfortunately there is no power up there, so no Lighting, no Sewing Machine, no heating. Also, the walls are not lined, but they do look good and rustic.
It will be a little space all my own, and I'm quite excited about it.
More photos as the clean up and transformation begin.
we all need a place of our own, that's for sure!
ReplyDeletethanks for your lovely comment today Lyndel, have fun setting up your "cubby" and we'll talk again soon x
Woohooo so exciting Lyndel! Wiring the shed will just have to go on your wish list for Santa! How wonderful it will be and getting the spare bedroom back means you have another room in the house to decorate as well! Look forward to updates :)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited too! It will become a real haven for all your market things, and you can start out fresh and be really organised.
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe one day you can get it lined and powered wont that be wonderfuller?
ReplyDeleteLucky you Lyndel! Wish i had a space like this to lock myself away in.
ReplyDeleteoh well done Lyndel. How much planning did that take! You will love having some extra space for all your goodies I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteThe garage started out to be my own little space about 10 years ago....to store my market stuff. Now I can't move in it
