a very wintery Winters Day

today was wet, cold and very windy in Melbourne. the Perfect Day to pick winter roses, a.k.a. Hellebores to cheer me up.
just popped them into the perfect 'vase' a pale green 1960s Parfait Glass. {an Op Shopped orphan one of course}

    Ha, it was so warm here last night I slept in a tshirt, ok I had the heater on but just barely. Some winter, you get all the coat-wearing fun!

    I love Hellebores Lyndal...they are a bit tricky to grow here sadly. I hope you didn't get too many shakes today x

    So glad that you've put up a photo of your roses!
    They are gorgeous and look so lovely in your special vase.
